J.K. Rowling has announced that she will be releasing three new Harry Potter e-books, which will be full of short stories on all-time favorite characters from the Harry Potter world.
Do you miss catching up on Professor McGonagall? Do you still have questions on what happened to Remus Lupin? Rowling’s upcoming new Harry Potter books are aimed at solving all your questions and more.
After giving her readers, or rather fans, a huge dose of nostalgia with the commercial release of rehearsal script of “Harry Potter And The Cursed Child”, J.K. has now decided to cash in on the reinvigorated craze following the eighth book of the Harry Potter series.
J.K. has announced that she will be releasing three new Harry Potter books that will be available only on online stores. These e-books are not novels or plays, like her previous books, but short stories aimed to give the Harry Potter fans an exclusive look at the “darker” aspects of the wizarding world.
Harry Potter E-Books
While the books will not be dealing with Harry’s journey, nor focus on him as the protagonist, they will carry excerpts of different phases of the lives of characters like Remus Lupin, Professor McGonagall, Professor Trelawney and so on.
While most of the books will cover stories which are set within the premises of Hogwarts, such as how Horace Slughorn came to meet and develop a relationship with Tom Riddle during the time that he taught in Hogwarts, there would also be stories which will not be strictly based on life in Hogwarts.

The three e-books will be called “Short Stories From Hogwarts: Power, Politics And Pesky Poltergeists”, “Short Stories From Hogwarts: Heroism, Hardship And Dangerous Hobbies” and “Hogwarts: An Incomplete And Unreliable Guide” respectively.
According To Mirror, the books are set to launch on 6th September in U.K., in an exclusive e-book format. You can preorder them now at Amazon.co.uk for £1.99. The worldwide release date for the books is still unknown.
