Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg is popular for setting ambitious goal every year and these goals are the sources of excitement for us too. This young CEO is going to do the same this year and he has plans to create an AI assistant for his own home with the help of Iron Man.
The inspiration for this upcoming innovation is a part of the Marvel Universe, Jarvis.
Jarvis is the virtual companion of Iron Man (Tony Stark) and helps him in all possible ways whether he needed information on how to make a cup of coffee or he needs to save the world. Jarvis also managed the business of Stark and he is voiced by Paul Bettany in the movies.
According to WCCFTECH, the virtual assistant of Zuckerberg will be getting the signature sound of Tony Stark which will make things more interesting. It looks like Robert Downey Jr., the Iron man actor, has offered his services in response to the Facebook post from Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg told that it was finally the time to give a voice to his virtual assistant and someone proposed the name of Bettany to be used as the voice. Zuckerberg dismissed this idea as he considered this as a very obvious choice. Zuckerberg is famous for thinking out of the box and when someone suggested the name of Downey Jr., Zuckerberg seemed to be pleased enough with the new choice. Things got even better when the actor himself came forward and expressed his interest in taking the opportunity.
Just imagine how well will it sound when we will have an AI assistant with the voice of Tony Stark. However, Downey Jr. had certain terms and conditions and all this was done within a reply on the Zukerberg’s Facebook thread. The actor presented his terms and conditions and at the same time he promoted Benedict Cumberbatch’s upcoming Marvel movie “Dr. Strange”.
The actor asked Zuckerberg to pay Bettany for paticipating in the project and the money generated by this project should be utilized in any good cause chosen by Cumberbatch.
