While Apple has not done much to improve iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, when it comes to the external designs, gadget-lovers need not be as disappointed as they initially thought they would be.
Yes, Apple’s newly launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus mirrors the outer appearance of its previously launched models iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S series, just like the innumerable leaks had predicted.
This might be pretty boring for some who are used to seeing Samsung whip up flashy designs every time, the latest being Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7 .However, some of the significant changes made by Apple is on the inside of its newly launched iPhones!
No Headphone Jack
First big change is, of course, the fact that Apple has indeed eliminated the headphone jack, as the rumors had mentioned months before iPhone 7 was set to release. It has instead been replaced by the “Lightning Port”, through which people can listen to music and recharge their phones at the same time.
Dust And Water Proof
The iPhone 7 range provides IP67 dust and water resistance, which means that the devices can hold its own even when immersed a meter under water for half an hour.
Home Button Gone
The Home Button has been replaced by a touch pad which has been bestowed with the “haptic feedback” sensation, reports Forbes, to give the user the feel of clicking a button.
Change Of Weight
Even though many might not notice it immediately, there has been a slight change in the weight of the iPhone 7. While it is still heavier than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, it is somewhat lighter than the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Shift Of Antennas
Even though Apple remains unsuccessful in doing away with the phone antenna bands altogether, much like its rivals like Samsung and Motorola, it has tried its best to enhance the design of the iPhone by shifting them from the back to the top and bottom of the device.
Despite numerous leaks suggesting that iPhone 7 is getting dual speakers, it did not really get dual speakers in the traditional sense of the term. What did get is an upgraded earpiece speaker, which is now loud enough to act as a second speaker when playing music aloud.
Dual Lens Camera
The iPhone 7 Plus features a dual-lens 12MP camera for better capturing better quality images even under dim lights and increased zoom power, while both the models are equipped with image stabilization and 4K video recording capacity, reports The Telegraph.
The price of Phone 7 varies from $649 (32 GB) to $749 (128 GB) and iPhone 7 Plus is being sold between $769 (32 GB) and $869 (128 GB), reports Tech Times.
iPhone 7 is available in all new range of colors – Gold, Rose Gold, Black, Jet Black and Silver!
