Rumors have indicated changes in the iPhone 7, like the removal of the headphone jack and the inclusion of a smart connector. A new leak could serve as the confirmation we have been waiting for.
iPhone 7 images reveal new details
Thanks to NWE, a French blog, images of what seem like a still-in-development iPhone 7 case have been released. The images give us a rear view of the casing, revealing no holes for the headphone jack, but two compartments for the speakers.
This confirms that the iPhone 7 has decided to remove the headphone jack. According to Mac Rumors, the additional speaker could be used for the audio apps created by Cirrus Logic. Not to worry; it would be a lightning mode accessory, which means no jack.
However, these images shatter other rumors which suggest no additional speakers for iPhone 7. The schematics and images revealed earlier have not included two compartments for the speakers. As for the size of its camera, the case reveals a larger frame for the lens indicating a slight bulge. Perhaps Apple has introduced the much-anticipated DLSR quality technology. But it’s still a farfetched theory.
The design of the casing may confirm that the iPhone 7 is similar to the iPhone 6. Screen size also seems to be the same, so we can expect no changes in its overall look.
