Apple iPad Pro2 is possibly about to launch soon according to the images leaked by a Chinese supplier.
Though the verity of the images could not be immediately confirmed, the device shown in them appeared to be Apple iPad Pro 2, identified with model number MH1C2CD/F, which hasn’t yet been allotted to an iPad model.
The images of the iPad Pro model, which is set to go into production sometime in late September, were reportedly forwarded by the Chinese supplier to the Appleinsider on Sunday.
Though the device in the images were identified by the Apple’s device numbering convention, whether or not they actually belong to a iPad Pro 2 model cannot still be confirmed. Forging a device identifier to make it correspond with that of the original model is not a complicated task.
The device in the images appeared to be a pre-production or prototype model, which has a storage of only 12 gigabytes. The amount of storage is, however, sufficient for supporting the operating system and other internal testing apps and hardware debugging apps.
According to the current speculations around the iPad Pro 2, there would either be a single annual update for both the Pro models. The company could also launch the updates for half of the models in autumn and the other half in the spring of 2017, the Macworld reported.
The leaked photos showed that the device is running on the recently launched Apple iOS 10 beta. But not much could be known about the screen size, design and the new hardware features from the photos.
The device is expected to be supported by a fast processor like the A10X and boast of the Two Tone Display technology, which helps adjust the white balance of the screen to the surrounding light. The camera of the said device is similar to that of the 9.7 inch Apple iPad Pro. The device may also bring 3D Touch technology onboard, however, there could be some challenges in introducing the feature on a larger screen.
