Apple plans to release several products in March this year. Multiple reports suggest that the Cupertino tech giant may release an iPad Air 3, a MacBook Air and a 4-inch iPhone during that time. Nonetheless, Apple fans will have to wait a little longer for the second-generation Apple Watch, which may not release in March.
According to Apple Insider, the tech giant is reportedly set to launch a 9.7-inch iPad Air 3 in March. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPad tablet is likely to debut as early as March. It is not known whether the upcoming iPad tablet will adopt features from its predecessor, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. However, due to manufacturing issues by Apple’s supply chain, the new tablet is not expected to have the 3D touch feature this time.
Further reports say that Apple is likely to come up with a new notebook, the MacBook Air, during March. An interesting fact from some reports hint at Apple’s recently acquired solar-related patent right. If it is true then the company may use solar power in its latest laptop and notebook lines, reports Master Herald.
Apple is thought to be developing a 4-inch iphone, dubbed the iPhone 6c. The new phone is expected to share similar looks with the iPhone 5s in terms of camera, etc. Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone at a press event this March. According to other reports, Apple is also planning to unveil a second-generation version of the Apple Watch in the same event.
However, Times of India recently said that the Apple Watch 2 is not coming in March. Although several sources from Apple supply chain hint at a new product launch, there is no strong indication from the developer’s end whether the watch will release in that month. It seems there won’t be a new Watch 2.0 in March, but possibilities of design partnerships and accessories are on the cards during this time.
