Pangu continues to hold back releasing any form of iOS jailbreak tool, as select Apple users continue to wait for one.
Thanks to a presentation made last July 1 during MOSET 2016, it was initially believed that a working jailbreak would come out. The expectations are for an iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak though Pangu had the luxury of releasing a crack for iOS 9.3.3 as well.
Still no sign of iOS jailbreak
We are currently in the middle of July and there is still no sign of an iOS jailbreak. The belief is that Pangu has been encountering problems with the buggy iOS 9.3.2, best known for leaving the iPad Pro bricked.
The iOS 9.3.2 has been notorious for a lot of things when it first came out. That included privacy issues and rapid battery drains as singled out by Forbes. With those problems in mind, will Pangu have enough time to come up with a crack before iOS 10?
Why not iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak tool instead?
Pangu does have an alternative and this is the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak. In fact there was belief that it could end up coming ahead of the iOS 9.3.2 mainly because of its buggy state. While that could be an easy way out, it also means that any form of iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak will be useless since who would want one if 9.3.3 is available?
In a sense, a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2 is looming as the borderline case. This is assuming that Pangu does have any plans to release a crack since iOS 9.3.1. Neurogadget reports that one is likely to come out soo and before iOS 10. But it failed to mention anything about an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak, another crack shown at MOSET 2016.
As it is, everything lies in Pangu’s hands. It could happen at Black Hat USA 2016, which takes place in Las Vegas from July 30 to Aug. 4. But like most rumors, that is another speculation that adds to the iOS jailbreak wait woes.
