Instagram just gave Taylor Swift the power to control the negative comments that flood her account following her spat with Kim Kardashian.
Taylor Swift have been receiving a lot of snake emojis and other negative comments on her Instagram feed and the social media company now intervned to let her censor these.
The Blank Space singer can now control or remove the negative content on her account without having to block or erase them one by one.
The photo-sharing site is also testing a new tool on a group of account who have a high volume of comments so they can manage or prevent abusive and malicious content.
An insider from The Daily Mail said that Instagram is not siding on Taylor Swift but the goal is to prevent having inappropriate comments that lead to cyber bullying.
A spokesperson talked to The Daily Mail and said, “We’re always looking for ways to help people have a positive experience with comments on Instagram.”
A rep from Taylor Swift claimed that the “Blank Space” singer was the one who wrote “This Is What You Came For,” the recently released single of Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna, Vanity Fair said.
“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though,” he said in a Twitter rant which has now been removed. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”
He concluded with the tweet that also involved Katy Perry, whom Taylor Swift had also feuded with.
“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”
Meanwhile, one Twitter user is also hinting that Taylor Swift is asking Twitter to block the party trends against her though there has not been any confirmation about this
“TAYLOR SWIFT IS PAYING TWITTER TO REMOVE THE PARTY TRENDS ABOUT HER JUST LIKE SHE PAID INSTAGRAM TO REMOVE SNAKE EMOJI’S! SPREAD THIS !!!” user @GagaLovesBey said.
