Nick Young may have confessed about being unfaithful to Iggy Azalea at some point, but the singer seemed to know her worth in the NBA star’s life.
In its report, Page Six shared how the 25-year-old rapper saved the 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard from supposed embarrassment.
After the professional basketball player “bizarrely” called her Becky on Wednesday via Twitter, the “Two Times” artist revealed how her fiancé almost got a misspelled tattoo on his back.
“Guys, I wanna let you know,” she said. “Nick cant spell and if it wasn’t for the LOVE I have for him. He would have ‘BORN REBLE’ tatted across his back.”
Does it mean that when Nick Young called Iggy Azalea “Becky,” it was just actually misspelled?
“I will tweet the picture of his tattoo when i land,” the Australian performer tweeted as she recounted the time when he got the spelling of “Born Rebel” wrong. “He really is lucky i mentioned it to him, I was gonna be petty and not say.”
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter disclosed that according to the basketball star, his Twitter account was hacked. It was unsure, though, if he surely did mean it, or was just trying to poke fun on his fiancée.
“I love my Becky but she be tripping lol,” he tweeted after the rapper voiced out that no one should ever call a white girl a “Becky” since it is racist.
It can be recalled that such call became controversial when it was mentioned by Beyonce in her newest album, “Lemonade.” Accordingly, Becky was the girl Jay-Z cheated with. But as to who Becky is, no one knows.
After posting such, Nick Young got Iggy Azalea’s response, “Reble. Don’t make me do it,” to which he replied, “You won. Wasn’t fault my Twitter been hack I would never call you the Becky word lol.”
