Leaked photos and price listing of the HTC One M9 was spotted by Deutsch website Mobile Geeks. The photos and price leakage comes from a listing posted on another website called Cyberport, a Deutsche online store that sells smartphones.
HTC One M9 Features
The newest product from HTC, said to rival Apple’s iPhone 6, will come with GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor manufactured by Qualcomm, Inc. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB standard storage, microSD memory expansion and a 2,840mAh battery.
The UltraPixel camera is placed in the front while a 20-megapixel sensor camera is at the back. HTC One M9’s 5-inch screen also has a high resolution display of 1080p. The phone will be surrounded with HTC’s BoomSound speaker technology.
The iPhone 6 rival will come with a metallic body in silver, gold and a dark shade of grey. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI, the phone will cost 749 euros or $850.
Mobile Geeks spotted the HTC One M9 photos from leaked press images from Cyberport, according to a report from Mashable. Cyberpot has since taken the listings down from its website.
“Get your hands on bigger boom”
On Feb 23, HTC Ireland posted a 12-second video on Twitter about an upcoming device that comes with better sound technology. “Get your hands on bigger boom,” the company’s Twitter post reads, as spotted by BGR.
The post does not specifically mention HTC One M9. However, BGR noted that previous reports and leaked information about the device claim it will come equipped with the HTC BoomSound.
Early on, HTC UK had officially confirmed that the One M9 will be released on March 1 during the Mobile World Congress.
“Let them stare. The new HTC One revealed 01.03.15,” HTC UK tweeted on Feb 17.
BGR noted that the Taiwan-based company had begun advertising its new product during a soccer match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich. The report also noted that HTC had been sponsoring the UEFA as far back as 2012, hence the spotted advanced advertisement of the HTC One M9.
