A new character is about to shake things up in How to Get Away with Murder season 2. In a new sneak peek released by ABC, a short video shows Annalise Keating, played by the powerful Viola Davis, shouting at her law students. Then in comes Famke Janssen, telling the students that they should follow whatever Keating says.
Things take a sudden turn when the usually fierce Annalise shows fear, her eyes telling us that Famke means bad news.
“How to Get Away with Murder” season 2 is expected to showcase a lot of “OMG moments” right from the first episode. Pete Nowalk, creator of the show, tells TV Guide, “I don’t know if we’ll ever top penis. But there are a lot of OMG moments in the premiere.”
Nowalk is referring to the shocking moment Annalise Keating discovers her husband’s naked picture on a dead girl’s cellular phone.
Another main mystery the law firm must solve is: who murdered Rebecca in the basement, while everyone else was on the first floor? The list of suspects is long, and it could be anyone – even the main characters themselves.
“I won’t say if it is a murder or not. I don’t really want to be tied down by the title. It’s more about mysteries,” Nowalk said. “[The case] culminates in another OMG moment. I think people should watch until the very last minute of the show because we like to end on a big moment and I think we definitely do. I think that’s the one the promo is talking about.”
Fans will have to wait this Thursday on ABC to solve the mystery of Rebecca’s murder, and to know the role Famke will play in the life of Viola Davis’ Emmy-winning character. Famke is known for her roles as Jean Grey in the first X-Men trilogy and as Lenore in the “Taken” trilogy with Liam Neeson.
