Qualcomm recently unveiled its latest chip, the Snapdragon 820. This is not an ordinary chip. The company believes it is going to change upcoming smartphones for the better. We will see most high-end phones packed with this chip next year.

Qualcomm, on its page dedicated to the Snapdragon 820, said, “As one of the most cutting-edge mobile processors ever created, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with X12 LTE supports the ultimate in connectivity, graphics, photography, power and battery efficiency.”

Yes, the chipset supports LTE Cat. 12 and LTE Cat. 13, which means your phone will now support download speeds of up to 600 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbps. This also means that Snapdragon 820 will allow you to stream videos, surf the web and download apps at lightning speed.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chip will enhance the quality of your phone’s display. This chip will support 4K display and enhance colors. By combining 4K technology and 3D audio with Adreno GPU and Kyro CPU, Snapdragon 820 will take virtual reality experience to another level.
