Helen Mirren has called it quits. The Oscar winner has decided that she will not do onscreen nudity anymore, or as she likes to call it—expose her pressure pillows.
Mirren, 70, opened up to Alan Cumming in an exclusive fancy diner interview for CBS’ “Remember That Time.” According to the actress, she will not be showing her breasts anytime soon. It is remembered that she had no qualms with baring it all in 1979’s “Caligula” and most recently, in the 2003 movie “Calendar Girls.”
“I didn’t know my boobs were legendary,” she joked. “There are much more legendary boobs than mine.”

Mirren was, of course, hesitant back then to show off her body. “I never wanted to do that. But you know, I thought, ‘Does it really matter?’” she asked, adding that she had been doing nudity for as long as she can remember, referring to her time back then as “the era.”
She compared the nudity in “Caligula,” which was then shown in porn cinemas due to its triple-X rating, to the casual nudity being displayed in “Game of Thrones” at 8 o’clock in the evening. “There it is… exactly what we did in Caligula. Everything’s a sex scene. Everything!”
Although recent movies and more recent actresses are more willing to throw off their clothes in front of the camera, Mirren is finally retiring her “legendary” figure. “That’s the good thing about getting older, you don’t have to do that sort of thing anymore,” she said.
“My pleasure pillows are purely for my husband.”
