Gwyneth Paltrow did not stop to nudge her fellow actors to do a humanitarian act to a cancer-stricken fan. The patient is a die-hard fan of the “Avengers.”
According to Daily Mail, when Chris Martin’s ex-wife knew that Ryan Wilcox’s dream is to see his “Captain America” idols, she encouraged Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans both stars of the superhero movie to visit the fan.
Gwyneth Paltrow volunteered to drive for the two actors but they ended up flying in a helicopter to the boy’s hometown. Downey, Jr. and Evans posed with the boy in the hallway of his house wearing his Captain America t-shirt.
During the visit, Ryan proudly showed Evans the large Captain America poster he had displayed on his bedroom wall. Chris Evans’ high-fiving the teen and Robert Downey Jr. autographing his wall were posted on social media under the #RyanStrong hashtag.
The actress was overjoyed to be able to make the trip. It originated from an Instagram post of Ryan Wilcox’s friends saying that he wants to meet the Avengers actors and that he is not doing well. Seeing his idols will become the best moment of his life.
Before the trip, Evans has already sent a video message to the sick teen that was played at a special pep rally at his school.
The teenager had a cancerous tumor on his brain and has been operated. He had a 10-years remission but last year, he was diagnosed with leukemia. The visit was a success because the fan was very happy about it.
Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow is manning her Goop business in San Francisco. As reported by Newsweek, her store sells high-end and personalized commodities that are too expensive for the ordinary employee. She is also a full-time mom to her two kids that she raises with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
Gwyneth Paltrow is also a sensitive person who responds to the human call at all times. Her recent visit to an ailing teenager to bring him his two idols was a proof of her big heart.
