‘Grimm’ Season 6 News & Update: Mayor Sean Renard As Main Villain – Report

Just when people thought “Grimm” cannot get any grimmer, it has been hinted that its next season will hit new levels of darkness. The big bad of “Grimm” season 6 has been revealed, and it’s none other than Mayor Sean Renard!

It couldn’t have been a more action-packed or dramatic finale, with Renard killing Conrad Bonaparte and saving Nick in the process. After so many changes happening in the season 2 of the show, the creators have decided that it’s time the show goes back to focusing on its core characters – Sean Renard and Nick.

‘Grimm’ Season 6 Spoilers

The head of Black Claw was brought down in the previous season, so what’s next in road for Renard? Does he stick to Black Claw or look for other options?

“I think he’s one of those poor souls who will never be satisfied and will always be looking for another opportunity,” Sasha Roiz, who plays Renard on the show, told TV Insider.

David Giuntoli also echoed his co-actor’s declaration as he mentioned that “Renard is going to be the big bad in Season 6. We’ll focus more on him and his rise to power and what that means. I don’t know this for absolute sure, but that’s the word on the street.”

‘Grimm’ Season 6 Update

There are rumors about Juliette making a comeback on the show in season 6. According to Giuntoli, his character, Nick will have a difficult time wrapping his head around that fact:

“I know, right? Is there a worse time in a guy’s life to find out your woman has come back? We’re all in the middle of being killed! On top of that, Nick is now in love with a Hexenbiest and they have a child. Nick’s also gotta be thinking, “Does Juliette know she killed my mother when she was Eve?” And who is actually responsible for that death?”

According to Australia Network News, “Grimm” season 6 will be shorter than its previous seasons, and will contain only 13 episodes. There is also a distinct possibility of Martin Meisner, the character who meets his end in the penultimate episode of season 5, will return. Will Nick use his healing stick to bring him back?
