With Project Fi, Google has stepped into the wireless market. This holiday season, the company has decided to thank those who helped them carry out the wireless experiment successfully and survive in the market.
While everyone was busy enjoying Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals, Google was thanking its customers by sending out gifts to them. What was the gift? LEGO blocks, a card, and a USB Type-C cable. These blocks, when assembled, become a cute charging stand that looks like a house. To get the USB Type-C cable along with other gifts, you should have purchased “a Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X from Project Fi.” This is what Google says on its support page.
Google has been shipping gifts since November 24 and will be sending them out in batches. But not every customer has made it to the list. According to its support page, you are eligible for a holiday gift only if you ordered a SIM, a Nexus 5X, a Nexus 6 or a Nexus 6P from Project Fi:
On or before November 8, and activated it by November 19
On or after November 9
You are not eligible for a holiday gift if you ordered a SIM, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 or Nexus 6P from Project Fi:
On or before November 8, but did not activate it by November 19
On or before November 8, but cancelled the service by November 19
If you are eligible for a Project Fi holiday gift and you do not receive it by December 16, feel free to get in touch with Google.
