Suddenly, Google Flights has been making waves in the travelling community and is now on its way to become a household name for globetrotters.
Just how good is Google Flights?
How does this work?
You can type in the search box the name of place, such as”Europe,” and immediately, a map of that place will be generated along with useful information like capital city names and flight prices.
If you really, really have no idea where to go, you can hit “I’m Feeling Lucky” and Google will generate a flight for you.
In our case, we tried a flight coming from New York, and we were directed to Vienna, Austria.
Google Flights is not all about getting the cheapest flights, though. The term “Best flights” means the best ticket prices with the best values, so budget travelers should not be surprised to see non-budget airlines pop-up while searching.
Once a destination is generated, flight prices are shown in a graph to help searchers determine the most suitable dates for travelling.
With this, Google aims to make travelling easier with a wealth of information available with just the click of a button.
