Google has done all sorts of experiments with Chrome and this time, it is all about making a TV screen your own chrome web browser. The $100 Chrome dongle, announced by Google, will convert a television to a computer with Chrome Browser and a chromebook.

Chromebit dongle for TV, made by ASUS for Google, is smaller than a candy bar.  It will be out for sale this summer. It comes in different colors and attaches to the television via HDMI.

Google is actually thinking beyond Chromecast, and that is proved by the innovation of this dongle. Rockchip RK 3288 will be present in the new gadget, according to Techradar. It comes with 2GB internal storage. The solid state storage is around 16 GB. Quadcore Mali graphics of 760 is used in this gadget, supporting Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a USB port. Putting everything in this size was not easy for sure, but ASUS pulled off the work really well.

Apart from this, the all new Hisense Chromebook and Haier Chromebook 11 will be available under $149. The models will have a high battery life, they are lightweight and they will run for a long period of time. Apart from this current launch, the company is all set to release ASUS Chromebook Flip.
