Bill Goldberg has been busy helping promote WWE 2K17 though all of it has been shrouded by a possible return to the WWE ring.
Goldberg has not actively wrestled since 2004 so one could just imagine the ring rust he has. A return to the ring first came out when he was suddenly named to appear on the cover of WWE 2K17 after which Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came into the picture.
Facebook Diss Cryptically Erased
Lesnar issued a challenge to Goldberg recently and even used a familiar phrase the 49-year-old actor/wrestler used during his prime. “Hey Bill, You’re next,” said Lesnar before the video was removed via Facebook. It is still however up on Twitter.

But the shot was seen more as a way to hype the game as the video connotes. The problem is, WWE fans want something more, a match that actually takes place in the ring. Could it happen at WrestleMania 33?
Goldberg Is Game
As far as Goldberg is concerned, the calls for a rematch have rekindled a fire in him. He has been considering a return to let his son see him wrestle. But right now it seems that fans have pushed him more to a possible return.
In fact, he says that one call could make a difference, raising the possibility even more. He seems to have a casual relationship with Vince McMahon and the WWE bosses so the tides may have just turned.

The question now is how much time does Goldberg need to get back in shape if the WWE does book him for a match. Will he appear at SummerSlam 2016 this Sunday and create even more noise?
Goldberg defeated Lesnar the last time out and seems pretty confident of pulling it all off again. But will the WWE creative team allow the fierce Goldberg to win with Lesnar on a streak?
