GLAAD Media Awards Releases List Of Nominees

GLAAD Media Awards just released the list of this year’s nominees. Caitlyn Jenner, Adam Lambert among the lucky ones. Get to know the others here.

Unlike that of Oscars’ rough #OscarsSoWhite controversy, no such “snubbing issues” are up for GLAAD. The 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards revealed this year’s set of nominees. Apparently, all color, race, and gender identity made it to the list. Among the deserving names and titles was Caitlyn Jenner’s TV show, “I Am Cait.”

They wish to honor those who fairly treats and represents members of the LGBT through film, TV programs, music, and other forms of media. Since then, the LGBT people were given due recognition.

Every year, GLAAD releases the list of nominees in several categories for different media platforms. Variety reports that GLAAD has 46 nominees f 11 Spanish Language categories. For its 20 English language categories, 101 nominees are named.
