On the occasion of the 16th birthday of the hit series Gilmore Girls, the Netflix released a video that creates nostalgia by taking fans back to the days of Stars hollow. The video clip also gives a sneak peek into the Gilmore Girls revival, “A Year in the Life,” and the credit goes to the cast interviews.
For the celebrations, 200 coffee shops were turned around the country to become IRL Luke’s Diners serving a cup of Luke’s signature coffee. The video clip released on Netflix allowed fans to get a sneak peek into behind the scenes and revealed the even the original cast members are as excited about the Gilmore Girls revival as the fans.
The outfit chosen by Rory Gilmore’s college-time boyfriend Logan Huntzbger, indicates something is cooking. Logan appeared in an old-time ensemble, revealing what he loves about the Gilmore Girls.
“Their scripts are so intelligent,” the Wetpaint quoted the Yale grad’s portrayer Matt Czuchry as saying. “[It’s] witty. And, of course, there’s the pace.”
It is to wait and see whether Logan tries to win Rory back by seriously leaning into her town’s activities. However, he is not the only one trying to get Rory’s heart. Fans were also given a glimpse of a grown-up Dean Forester and Jess Mariano.
“It’s fun and exciting to be around great memories,” said Milo Ventimiglia, who portrayed Jesse.
According to a report by the Teen Vogue, a website for Stars Hollow is now live and while it is not entirely new since Kirk lost the password back in 2007, it appears that the website serves as the official online hub for the town.
In the “Town Updates” section all the town events ever documented in the series have been listed. The dates of the posts coincide with the dates of every corresponding episodes. The other tabs include the “Local Artist” tab and a “Town Directory.”
Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life premieres on Netflix on November 25.
