The midseason finale of “How To Get Away With Murder” ended with Annalise getting shot. She was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Alfred Enoch who plays Wes Gibbins opened up about the responsibility given to him as the shooter.
Keating, played by Viola Davis, is the central character of “How to Get Away With Murder.” She was shot and was nearly put to death till she whispered the name “Christophe.”
“I was a little bit concerned about that,” Alfred said at Good Morning America. “Viola is so great on the show. No one is going to like Wes anymore. He better not kill her off.”
The aftermath of the shooting will be shown in the midseason premiere of “How To Get Away With Murder.” The premiere will air today, showing the frustration of Wes. Alfred said, “She’s a difficult woman,” adding, “I understand his frustrations. I don’t judge him.”
However, Enoch said it was nice working with Emmy Award winner Viola Davis. He exclaimed, “It’s always nice, I think, as an actor, when you get to work with people who work differently, who bring different things to the table and change the way a scene works and can take it in an unexpected direction.”
Enoch also mentioned, “There’s so much there to work with that it opens you up and you find things you might not have expected, which is one of the really fun things about the job.”
In the aftermath of the shooting, Annalise will be returning home and recovering. Even after the shooting, she is still concerned about Wes. What is the real connection between Annalise and Wes? Stay tuned as this will be revealed in the upcoming midseason premiere of “How To Get Away With Murder.”
