‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6: Sansa Dies, Littlefinger May Get Iron Throne

“Game of Thrones” fans are now paying more attention to Sansa Stark after “Book of the Stranger” showed a different side of her. Sophie Turner talks about her role in the series and what she wants for her character. She wants Sansa Stark to die and Littlefinger on the Iron Throne!

In an interview with Just Jared, the 20-year-old actress talked about her role in the popular medieval fantasy series among other things. With this much excitement surrounding her character it would be a sin not to leave every stone unturned.

Sophie Turner admits she hasn’t read anyone else’s script because she wants to watch the series as a fan, so she can only reveal things about her character. She says this season is going to be big for Sansa Stark.

It’s a big game-changer for her character, Turner says, she will now be in the driving seat and will no longer be a pawn in everyone else’s games. Instead of being passed around or being held as a prisoner she will now be the one telling people ‘Come with me, I’m taking you somewhere.’

After coming a long way from a sweet little girl, to an emotionally tortured teenager, to a determined and strong-willed woman, Sophie Turner is excited about the future of her character. When asked about what she wants for her character, her answer is surprising although very relevant to the context of the “Game of Thrones.”

She wants Sansa Stark to avenge her family’s murder as well as pay back all the ones that have wronged her. But she also wants her to die at the end, to have a big death scene and Littlefinger to end up in the Iron Throne, and no she’s not kidding.

Though you might not agree with her, you must admit that dying and having a plot twist like Littlefinger sitting on the Iron Throne is the very essence of series. Catch more of Sophie Turner in Game of Thrones every Sunday on HBO.
