Game of Thrones season six is just around the corner. Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the series, flaunted her plunging neckline at the BAFTA Film Awards 2016 and received positive feedback from critics and fans everywhere.
As reported by Daily Mail, Clarke rocked the BAFTA Film Awards 2016 with a red dress. Her bright red plunging neckline gown evened out her short waist and made her look fabulous last Sunday at the timeless Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
One of Clarke’s co-stars in Game of Thrones, Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth, also gained attention as she flaunted a floor-length purple gown as fabulous as that of Clarke’s.
In fact, Clarke was labeled one of the best-dressed celebrities at the event, according to Glamour. Other celebrities that reigned on the parade comprised of Dakota Johnson and Dree Hemingway, who both flaunted timeless red dresses that fit the holiday of love.
According to The Week, Clarke was not the first choice to play Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Tamzin Merchant, who played Catherine Howard in the HBO original series “The Tudors,” was the first pick.
During the BAFTA Film Awards, Emilia Clarke co-presented with Matt Smith the award for Special Visual Effects. The actress strutted her gorgeous gown which implied that she may be a notorious mother of dragons in GOT, but she sure can strut a gorge gown in real life. Her royal characteristics sure emanate off-film as well.
