‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Episode 7: Jaime Lannister And Brienne Of Tarth May Reunite

“Game of Thrones” episode 7 will air in a few hours with the much-anticipated appearance of Ian McShane and possibly the return of Sandor Clegane. Aside from new characters, there is also the possibility of Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth reconciliation! How? Read on.

The trailer released by HBO for episode 7, “The Broken Man” features the siege of Riverrun where the Kingslayer is currently leading the Lannister army. After being dismissed from the Kingsguard, he was ordered to return to Casterly Rock by Tommen Barartheon, which was what Tywin Lannister originally wanted for him.

Earlier in “Game of Thrones” episode 5, Sansa Stark and Jon Snow together with Ser Davos Seaworth were discussing which northern houses could join them in the coming war with Ramsay Bolton.

Sansa revealed to everyone that their great uncle Brynden Tully has recaptured Riverrun and suggested that they enlist House Tully’s help as well.

She ordered Brienne of Tarth to carry the message to Riverrun, unwilling to send a raven due to the risk of it being intercepted. After having no scenes in “Blood of my Blood,” the only logical explanation is that she is still traveling to the Riverlands at the time.

Given that recapturing the seat of House Tully will be not easy task considering its defenses and the Blackfish in command, chances are she will arrive while the siege is still ongoing. Whether she meets with either Jaime Lannister or Brynden Tully is something fans should stay tune for, but this meeting will surely be no doubt, awkward.

The Blackfish will be doubtful of the 6-foot armored lady claiming to be in service to Sansa Stark but brandishing a Lannister-made Valyrian sword. Jaime Lannister, on the other hand, will be doubtful due to Brienne of Tarth’s allegiance and the fact that she is in the Riverlands just as the Tullies have revolted.

Will the two “lovers”, at least in Cersei’s mind, meet in “The Broken Man?” Watch “Game of Thrones” tonight exclusively on HBO.
