Google released the Android N preview which means the official release is just around the corner. According to reports, OEMs like Samsung may soon roll out the update with Galaxy units like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6 in line. Will the Android N roll out be smooth?
OEMs like Samsung has yet to complete the release of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and its updated iteration, the Android 6.0.1, but there are already talks about the release of Android N.
According to Christian Daily, Galaxy Note 6 should be released sometime between August and September, to be powered by Android N. The release will be in time for Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus. As with other Android updates, once Android N is available and the Nexus update is done, other devices like the Samsung Galaxy lineup should follow.
Nonetheless, Samsung is working on releasing the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update soon to all intended devices globally since the Android N is coming up. According to Gotta Be Mobile, Samsung Galaxy S6 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update has started seeding to devices such as Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in Korea. Other units across the globe are also following suit. Marshmallow updates have also been spotted in countries like India, the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Iraq and the Netherlands. Other models in Afghanistan, Croatia, Germany, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Pakistan, Italy, Macedonia, and Spain among others have started seeing the update.
Sprint and Verizon joined on board and are now bringing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units. As for Samsung Galaxy S5 Marshmallow update, it is now available in Korea and will soon hit all intended units in the United States. Galaxy Note 4 Marshmallow update is seeding in the US as well. It is best for users to confirm with their regional units and carriers on exact release schedule.
