San Francisco 49ers fans will have to say goodbye to Frank Gore as he is expected to sign a contract with Philadelphia Eagles this week.
There is no word yet with regards to the final amount, but Gore’s first two years with the Eagles will be a guaranteed $7.5 million.
In a report by ESPN, Gore will have only less than half of what LeSean McCoy had when he was with the Eagles.
Gore was drafted by the 49ers in 2005.

Byron Maxwell Joins The Eagles
Cornerback Byron Maxwell was earlier reported to also be joining the Eagles when free agency starts on Tuesday. This comes after a move from the Eagles prevented him from re-signing with Seattle Seahawks.
Maxwell was drafted by the Seahawks in 2011.
