Force Friday 2016 Guide: When, Where, How To Buy ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Toys

Force Friday is here, second year in a row! Find out how to land the best deals on all new range of Star War toys!

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is set to release this year. This means Disney can take the opportunity to launch a fresh new range of Star War toys in a grand way, a.k.a. Force Friday.

So Star War fans, make sure that you circle the date, September 30, because that is the Friday that marks the start of the new edition of the Star War toys sale!

However, one can expect the toys this year to differ from last year because the plot of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is far different from the original Skywalker series.

While last year’s Star Wars movie “The Force Awakens” followed the traditional plot, this year’s movie will trace the history of the Rebel Alliance and they obtained the Death Star.

Star Wars Contest Alert

Children between ages of 8-12 can participate in a contest called “My Rogue Story” with the help of “My Rogue Story Video Starter Pack” being distributed by Disney stores in North America, reports Heavy.

If possible, hop down to Disney stores at The Times Square (New York), Michigan Avenue (Chicago), or Stockton Street (San Francisco).

Three lucky fans will be hand-picked to receive exclusive Rogue One Elite Series figures collection and a certificate signed by director Gareth Edwards and actress Felicity Jones.

Deluxe 2-Packs will also be made available in Force Friday, with some of the combinations being Scarif Stormtrooper/Moroff, Officer Blue Squad Leader/HB Officer and Death Trooper/Rebel Commando Tao.

However, the much-anticipated AT-ACT, which costs $299.99, will be missing from the Force Friday launch as it is set to come out sometime later in the fall this year.
