Residents of Seattle, Washington must have been very excited that some scenes of the romantic movie “Fifty Shades Darker” are being filmed there this week.
While majority of the scenes are shot in Vancouver, Canada, On Location Vacations revealed that the production team of the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ novel has already moved to a new location.
Based on the filming notices issue by MB2 Productions, filming for the sequel of “Fifty Shades of Grey” will happen around Pioneer Square starting this weekend, and this is expected to last for a few days.
“MB2 Productions LLC, a Movie Production Company, will be filming scenes for an upcoming feature film in your neighbourhood,” the “Fifty Shades Darker” filming notice read. “With the help of Seattle Police for Intermittent Traffic Control and safety, we will film scenes for a movie around the Pioneer Square neighbourhood.”
According to notice, shooting dates will be on May 21-22 and May 25-26.
In the meantime, Movie News Guide shared three exciting major scenes that are anticipated to happen in the lives of Christian Grey (portrayed by Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia “Ana” Steele (Dakota Johnson).
The first interesting scene that fans must reportedly look forward to in “Fifty Shades Darker” would be the confrontation among the women in Christian’s life – current girlfriend Ana, mom Grace (Marcia Gay Harden) and former lover Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger).
Following the announcement of Ana’s engagement to Christian, Elena, probably jealous of the situation, would confront the former and would tell her nasty things, like she having no capacity to make Christian happy. Upon knowing this, Grace would be to the rescue and demand that her friend must stay away from the lives of Ana and Christian.
The second major scene in “Fifty Shades Darker” would be the one involving Ana and her boss Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson), who would try to assault her.
The third scene would be about how romantic Christian is. Accordingly, he would be down on his knees begging Ana to stay after his ex Leila Williams (Bella Heathcote) shows up and starts to ruin their relationship.
“Fifty Shades Darker” is set to premiere in February 2017.
