E.L. James, “Fifty Shades Of Grey” author, decided to take a Twitter Q&A session and, ouch, the blows were just too hard.
It was a brave enough decision for the publicity team of the author to go for such Q&A session with #AskELJames. The author was asked questions that were hard to deal with. The team had no idea what it was going to be and the author landed into a sort of problem.
While some of the readers pinpointed her writing skills, some had nasty questions about the book. One of the users questioned the originality of the book by asking, “Do you think you’ll ever fully convince yourself the FIFTY SHADES books are an original work?”
A reader asked, “Did you ever consider using a thesaurus, or did that sound too much like hard work?” while another asked, “Have you ever held a dictionary?”
The author was bullied and had to take rude responses from readers. It was exactly not what she expected.
One of the readers asked, “How does it feel, knowing that this Q&A session is more interesting to read than all of your books?” With such a response, anyone will have to think twice before putting forward a Q&A session.
