Fast and Furious 8, the upcoming installment of one of the most successful franchises, will feature an Ice Ram, which was unveiled by Dwayne Johnson himself on Instagram. The sturdy and rugged-looking Ice Ram surely matches the personality of The Rock, who plays one of the lead roles in the movie.
Fans were able to get an early look at Fast 8 for one day to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its launch. The Fast and the Furious was released in June 2001 and went on to become a blockbuster.
The crew was shooting for the Fast and Furious 8 in Iceland recently and it seems like the Ice Ram has an important role to play in that part of the movie, Cinema Blend reported. They ended up accidentally killing a horse during a recent filming. Reports revealed a fake iceberg caused the death of the horse.
“When its time to save the world in the snow, Hobbs becomes the Abominable Iceman in his ICE RAM,” Johnson captioned his Instagram post, which immediately became a hit.
The monstrous vehicle will be seen storming down the Icelandic town of Akranes in one of the high voltage action sequences of the movie. Luke Hobbs, the macho and brave law enforcer, will be chasing criminals and stop at nothing with the Ice Ram in tow come 2017, the IMDb reported.
In the upcoming Fast and Furious 8, Johnson will be joined by Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, who will be appearing as the antagonist, Cipher, Cinema Blend reported. Fans will also see the return of Lucas Black in the film for the first time since Tokyo Drift. Fast 8 will hit theaters on April 14, 2017.
