There might be a possibility that “Fast 8” will be cancelled following the alleged feud of Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at the set of the action-packed movie.
Vin Diesel, who was considered as the “father” of the entire cast, reportedly stormed off on his last day of filming for the movie, with a short but meaningful speech saying, “Daddy gone.”
This came after The Rock’s Facebook rant about his “Fast 8” male co-stars.
In his rant, the former wrestler who plays as bounty hunter Luke Hobbs, said, “This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one.”
He continued, “An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story (sic).”
The action star added that while some of the men “conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals,” the other have “candy asses.”
Despite not naming the male co-star he is referring to, The Rock hinted speculations that it might be Vin Diesel when another star Tyrese Gibson said he does not have any bad blood with the former wrestler, Mirror UK said.
Posting an Instagram video of The Rock, Tyrese Gibson said, “Let me calm you guys all the way down…….. I don’t know WHO he has a problem [WITH]and I don’t have any details of WHAT those problems are – as a matter of fact if I DID know I would tell you s–t!!!”
A source from Page Six also confirmed the feud of Vin Diesel and The Rock, which might lead to “Fast 8” being cancelled.
“Vin Diesel and the Dwayne Johnson have been butting heads throughout the production of ‘Fast 8,’” an insider dished out. “Vin has a reputation for being difficult — he shows up late, keeps people waiting, holds up production and is disrespectful to people on the set. Dwayne lost his patience with him.”
Reports said that “Fast 8” still might push through the Vin Diesel and The Rock reportedly had peace talk last Wednesday.
