American model and actress Emily Ratajkowski responded with a curt reply to British journalist Piers Morgan on Twitter for shaming her nude photoshoot. An August issue of Harper’s Bazaar will feature the model riding nude on horseback.
Morgan has always made it a point to remark on nude photoshoot, but Ratajkowski is not the one to back down.
“Do you want me to buy you some clothes? You look freezing,” Morgan commented on the image which Ratajkowski shared on Twitter. The model’s reply to the journalist was prompt. “I don’t need clothes as much as you need press,” she slammed back.
Earlier this year, he ridiculed Kim Kardashian’s nude selfie by tweeting, “The world should not be exclusive of the ideal body. It has to include all ideals, all bodies. The whole idea is that when Kim takes a nude selfie, she’s just seeking attention — that’s not the issue. A woman can be seeking attention and also making a statement.”
Emily Ratajkowski discussed feminism with Harper Bazaar’s feminist author Naomi Wolf, in which she mentioned Kim Kardashian’s controversial nude selfie and also recollected how she would be harassed for possessing a developed body for her age when she was young.
She also talked over how she and Kim came together to recreate the nude selfie in order to shut down the haters like Morgan who said Kim was “too old” to be doing such things,
“That made me really angry,” Emily Ratajkowski said as quoted by the Daily News. “You know, when Lena Dunham takes her clothes off, she gets flack, but it’s also considered brave; when Justin Bieber takes his shirt off, he’s a grown-up. But when a woman who is sexual takes off her top, it plays into something.”
