Pop fans are going to get moody today as their favorite musical acts are going to take a break not only in the music business, but on social media as well. One Direction has allegedly made their final performance during the “X Factor” finale Sunday night. On top of that, Ed Sheeran will also be taking a break.
It was earlier this year that One Direction revealed that they will be taking a break from the music business following the detachment of Zayn Malik last March. Fans have been devastated, taking leaves from their work, because they felt that it was the most devastating news they’ve heard from the band so far. It seems Malik’s leave was not the final bomb for One Direction fans as shortly thereafter, Niall Horan declared that the band will be taking a break from the music business.
As reported by Billboard, One Direction recently released their latest album “Made in the A.M.” the same date that Justin Bieber released his “Purpose” album. Unlike the latter, the former band was supposed to take a break after they were to release and promote the said album. This would indicate that their latest performance during the “X Factor” finale last Sunday night may be the last time they would be seen performing together. Will they still be back?
The band found each other when they entered the same competition 2010 when Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan auditioned to be a part of “X Factor.” During which, Simon Cowell found them to be a perfect match and formed One Direction. It was ironic, so it seems, that their last performance before their break was going back to their roots.
In other news, CBC News reported that another popstar also announced his detachment, from his fans in social media at least. Ed Sheeran, the phenomenal love song creator, took to Instagram and posted:
That’s right, ladies. Sheeran is going to travel the world and detach himself from social media until next fall.
Here are the last goodbyes of the One Direction members before they bid adieu for their break:
Off to the job centre … Hope it all works out

I hope you realise what we have all done together really is incredible. You guys have made us what we are today! We'll be back soon enough!

To you, you have changed our lives and no words will ever be good enough to thank you for what we have done together.

Can't thank you enough to be honest … Don't worry , we'll be back .. Looking forward to chilling for a while now

Now that One Direction may be absent from the world of music either indefinitely or for a long period of time, seems like Ed Sheeran will also be missing for a short while. Looks like fans may only hang on to Justin Bieber as these music acts take their breaks and hopefully grace us with phenomenal tracks in the future.
