Drake adds to the growing list of celebrities whose Twitter accounts have been hacked in the past few days. This includes reality Kylie Jenner, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and many more.
In a report by Hot New HipHop, the One Dance singer’s Twitter account has been hacked yesterday. This was confirmed when someone promoted a Snapchat and Twitter account using the Drake’s Twitter with the username Champagne Papi.
The hacked account reportedly promoted the Twitter user @2aiden3, which was not posted by Drake himself.
There were also two hacked tweets of the singer which he then deleted immediately. Since then, Drake’s Twitter was temporarily suspended.
In the past weekend, someone allegedly hacked 18-year-old reality star Kylie Jenner’s Twitter, which promoted her alleged sex tape with former beau and rapper Tyga.
Kylie Jenner then took to her Snapchat to confirm the hack saying, “So my Twitter was hacked.”
“And I don’t really care, I’m just letting them have fun,” she added.
The reality star also shed light about the sex tape issue, as she said, “You are never going to see a sex tape from me. It’s not going to happen.”
Moreover, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter and Pinterest account also got hacked, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The report said that the password emerged from the stolen data in 2012 from LinkedIn Corp.
The Verge report said that LinkedIn has also resetted all the passwords that have been affected by the hacked and is suggesting that users should change their too as soon as possible.
Other hacked Twitter accounts were from Tenacious D, Bon Iver, Tame Impala, Keith Richards, and Katy Perry.
It is still not confirmed who was behind these ongoing Twitter attacks and if the hackers for the accounts came from one person or group.
