In the show, Ken Jeong plays himself with a great sense of humor. In Dr Ken Season 2, Allison Park (Suzy Nakamura), his wife, takes up a job at HMO. It is the same place where Ken works.
Allison, a therapist by professional, will get a good-paying job and position at the HMO. And this is where the drama is expected to begin, Fabnewz reports.
Ken’s ego is hurt
Ken’s ego is likely to be hurt, which will affect the dynamics at the workplace. Besides, the couple’s equation at the homefront will be affected, which may lead to a strained relationship.
Ken’s dad to move in with them
Apart from the problem between Ken and Allison, the Park family will have more trouble in the form of Ken’s father. The latter will tell his son his intentions to move in with them.
Ken at this point is most likely to crack under pressure, both professional and personal. But luckily for him, his family is a strong support system. The couple have two kids.
The other characters in Dr Ken include Tisha Campbell Martin as Damona, Dave Foley as Pat, Jonathan Slavin as Clark, Kate Simses as Julie, Albert Tsai as Dave and Krista Marie Yu as Molly. The show, which hails from Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios, is produced by Mike Sikowitz, Ken Jeong, John Davis and John Fox, Variety mentions.
Dr Ken Season 2 will also air a special episode, a crossover with popular ABC show “Shark Tank.” The crossover special episode will air in November, but the exact date is not yet released by ABC.
