Donald Trump has lost his “Walk of Fame” star to vandalism by people who cannot stand his platforms as a presidential hopeful. While the star remains intact, it is now covered with graffiti, urination and even defecation.
Trump received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2007 for his work on the American reality show “The Apprentice.” Reportedly, since the American businessman and TV personality made it known that he will run for the first position in the White House, his Walk of Fame star is regularly defaced because of his unpopular campaigns and statements.
Los Angeles Times learned from Francisco Javier, a man who routinely walks around Hollywood Boulevard in a Superman outfit, that the sign now contains a lot of bad words. “Every day people get mad at him,” Javier said.
Mindy Herrera, who was visiting Hollywood Boulevard with her family from Loveland, Colorado, said, “We’re Hispanic, so we don’t like Trump, obviously.”
It has been said that officials of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce already have plans to remove the controversial candidate’s spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But according to People Magazine, Leron Gubler (the president of the organization) already stated the circulating story is a malicious deception.
“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark,” Gubler clarified. “Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk,” Gubler explained.
