Speaking with Politico Magazine, Trump remarked that his building, 40 Wall Street, “actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan.” The business mogul added that before the World Trade Center, 40 Wall Street was the tallest building in Manhattan.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Trump said that the USA is “less safe” than the time before the 9/11 tragedy, which led to the deaths of thousands and the collapse of the Twin Towers. Speaking with the media outlet at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC, Trump remarked that America has “incompetent leadership,” one that “doesn’t know what it’s doing.”
He also spoke about the military, saying it has been depleted.
“We have the greatest people in the military, but it’s very depleted with equipment, with size,” Trump said. “Our Navy is missing many ships from what it had. All of our forces are way down.”

Trump said that he mourns the deaths of Americans in the tragedy. “We mourn for all the children who had to grow up without a mom or dad, and for all the parents who’ve had to struggle on without their children,” Trump said. “We will never forget.”
