For fans of “Girl Meets World,” here is good news. This coming-of-age sitcom has been renewed for a third season, confirmed the Disney Channel as well as the production team of the TV series. So now, it is just a few more months before you can catch “Girl Meets World” season 3.
The series debuted on Disney Channel in June 2014. It is the sequel to “Boy Meets World,” aired on ABC during 1993-2000. The production of season 3 will begin on January next year. Season 2 of the series, which still has 2 episodes left, has shown the middle-school adventures of Riley Matthews, daughter of Cory and Topanga, who had played the main characters in “Boy Meets World.”
The friendship of Riley and her best friend Maya Hart has been the primary focus of the season so far, and in “Girl Meets World” season 3, we will see this duo enter an unknown territory, high school.
The characters we have seen so far are going to remain the same as we have not heard anything about changes in the cast, but we also expect to see guest appearances of other members from “Boy Meets World” as well.
As stated by Adam Bonnett, the EVP of programming for Disney Channels Worldwide, “Michael Jacobs has one of the most authentic voices in television today.” Michael Jacobs and the whole team of “Girl Meets World” will continue to entertain families in season 3. Bonnett also added that the new season will help kids view their life more effectively.
