Battlefield 1 has been off the grid since the initial trailer release earlier this month. Although the game is all set for users who want to get their first look on June 12 during the EA Play event, it’s still not enough. Luckily, DICE wasn’t as tight-lipped as we expected them to be.
DICE reveals new information on Battlefield 1
In an interview earlier this month, DICE’s lead world designer Daniel Berlin spoke with AusGamers about Battlefield 1. DICE will be adding a conquest mode through multiplayer. Berlin said, “We’re crafting some modes that look at the era, and we make the mode fit that era. So that’s something we’re also doing.”
According to Gamepur, the new mode DICE plans to include will be realistic and more sensible to a World War I scenario. This confirms that the new mode will be as historically accurate as possible.
Battlefield 1 is much-awaited by the gaming community after it won the trailer battle against Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Activision is taking on a futuristic approach in terms of land and space battles in its upcoming COD title. The game will also come with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, securing its success one way or the other. Whereas Battlefield 1 has to meet its expectations.
