Dell Offers Its Touch-Screen Monitor for $159.99

Dell continues its season for discounts. This time, the PC manufacturer is offering its touch screen monitor, Dell S2014T, for just $159.99. That translates to a $90 savings, or up to 36% markdown compared to current online prices for the product, including the $197.99 price tag for the same monitor at Amazon.

But this offer is not lasting that long. It is only up until Monday, March 31. That means that you still have a little time left to take advantage of this offer that would enable you to buy and obtain that unique monitor at lower costs.

Main features of Dell S2014T

The touch-screen monitor facilitates a five-point touch. That means it could recognize up to five touch points and respond to zoom, swipe, pinch, and scroll gesture commands, all at once. The monitor even comes with multiple ports, which include DisplayPort, two HDMI inputs with MHL support, audio, VGA, two USB 2.0 downstream ports, and a single USB 2.0 upstream port.

It is a 20-inch monitor with a resolution of 1,600 X 1,900 pixels, enough to deliver solid color as well as gray scale performance. It has a contract ratio of 8 million 1. Based on the company’s advice, viewing angles could possibly encounter slight distortion at least 45 degrees and higher. For personal or desk viewing, this monitor brings about legible text with even coloring.

A user could choose from seven picture modes. Those include the standard, movie, multimedia, game, warm, text, and cool modes. A user could even prefer a custom mode to choose saturation levels in red, blue, or green.

More interesting features of the monitor

Dell S2014T has an adjustable stand that is bent forward by 5 degrees and has the tilting ability to about 30 degrees backward. There is a compatible mounting at back end so a user could easily upgrade or adapt to some other VESA-compatible wall mounts or table mounts. This feature makes it universal for mounting.

During the testing phase of the machine, it used only 13 watts of power. That amount is much lower compared to the energy consumption of most other competitor models, even to some monitors from Dell itself. Dell S2014T can be ordered directly from the company with free shipping until Monday.

The product comes with a 3-year limited hardware warranty. It even has a 3-year advanced exchanged service warranty.
