Daniel Radcliffe is all set to take on the lead role in the upcoming film “Imperium” from Atomic Features and Tycor International Film Company, Deadline has learned.
The movie is based on true events, with the “Harry Potter” superstar portraying a young FBI agent going undercover to prevent white supremacists from making a bomb. The events in question center around the experiences of Michael German, who went undercover amid U.S. neo-nazis and militia factions.
The film will be directed by Daniel Ragussis, a short film director who co-wrote the script using German. This will be his first feature directorial project.
It’s almost a miracle this project is all up and running, considering Radcliffe’s busy schedule. He’s currently shooting indie comedy “Swiss Army Man” alongside Paul Dano. He will also star opposite James McAvoy in the upcoming “Victor Frankenstein.” He is also hired to star as Rockstar Games director Sam Houser for “Game Changer,” a TV movie for BBC2 telling the story of the creation of the “Grand Theft Auto” games.
Good thing he takes breaks from time to time. Recently, he was filmed rapping Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady” with GF actress Erin Darke in Half Moon Bay’s Cameron’s Pub.
