The drama behind Dez Bryant may come to an unfortunate close, depending on what the Dallas Cowboys make of it from here on. The wide receiver has been hit with irresponsible behavior claims that include tardiness which eventually led to missing important game meetings.
One of those meetings was critical since it included a scheduled MRI. For his troubles, he was fined for the no-show though he did eventually undergo MRI. As it turned out, Dez Bryant is suffering a lateral hairline fracture to the tibial plateau of his right knee, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Bryant On The Way Out
The recent tardiness of Dez Bryant is not necessarily new news. He has been notorious for such so it also hardly comes as a surprise that he could be possibly on his way out.
Right now, there is no word on how long Dez Bryant will be out. He did not play against the San Francisco 49ers though there are some who felt that he could have played in that one. Seeing that the Cowboys managed to win without him, it hardly mattered.
Moving forward, however, coach Jason Garrett could take things differently. Attitude is one thing and such could spark dissension among the Cowboys roster. Again, Jones says otherwise and claims that Dez Bryant is well-loved by his teammates.
If he is kept out, he could be lost in the rotation. If Dez Bryant ends up being eased out of Garrett’s mix, the obvious is that he could find himself on the trading block.
Jones is the only one keeping things together right now for the Cowboys. But at some point, he may want to realize that protecting Bryant will run out.
