Dallas Cowboy player Greg Hardy was arrested Sunday night when he was allegedly caught in possession of cocaine.
The former NFL star was caught with cocaine in his Louis Vuitton wallet when cops searched his 2010 Dodge Challenger.
The 28-year-old free agent was pulled over by authorities after he did not use the turn signal while driving in Texas.
The TMZ report said the player agreed to let cops search his car for anything illegal.
The copes reportedly found the wallet at the center console which had “a purple plastic bag which contains a white pasty substance.” The wallet also has multiple gun range membership cards as well as a brown weed grinder.
When the substance on the LV wallet tested positive for cocaine, Greg Hardy denied he know about the cocaine and said someone must have put it in there when he was at a party.
The test showed that Grey Hardy’s wallet which contained cocaine has weighed in less than one gram.
His arrest was classified as PG1, as per the Texas states’ penalty on controlled substances.
The said penalties are dived into four “penalty groups” based on the dangerousness and probability of abuse, according to the Controlled Substances Act, WFAA said.
The athlete was taken to Richardson City Jail and bailed himself out at $5K.
This is not only the first time the Dallas Cowboy player was involved in controversy. Last year, he became unsigned after he has a domestic violence case in North California.
