While the “Fifty Shades” movies have been known for its erotic scenes, lead actress Dakota Johnson hinted that she already got tired of filming long hours of sex scenes.
While talking to Chrissie Hynde of the “Interview” magazine, the 26-year-old actress shared her thoughts about filming for the second installment of the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ book with the same title.
“I’m doing [a sex scene] today. It’s not … comfortable,” the daughter of actor Don Johnson and actress Melanie Griffith said. “It’s pretty tedious.”
“Well, we’re not having actual sex,” she added. “But I’ve been simulating sex for seven hours straight right now, and I’m over it.”
When asked if her father has ever watched her doing such scenes, Dakota Johnson was quick to respond, “No! God, no. Thank God.”
The actress, who plays the role of Anastasia Steele, the love interest of lead actor Jamie Dornan’s character Christian Grey, is currently busy working on the two upcoming sequels, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” simultaneously. The said films are expected to be released by 2017 and 2018, respectively.
“I’m filming the next two installments of the ‘Fifty Shades’ movies back-to-back,” she dished out.
When it comes to her views about her future in the industry, the “Need for Speed” star appeared to have some insecurity.
“I still feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. Like, I’m unsure of what my life will be like,” Dakota Johnson said. “I mean, I have such an obsession with making movies that I probably will always do that. But sometimes my life can feel so suffocating, and then it can feel so massive, like I don’t have a handle on it at all, and I don’t know where it’s going or what I’m going to do.”
In the meantime, Just Jared reported that the actress and her leading man filmed some portions of “Fifty Shades Darker” on the yacht on Wednesday in Vancouver, Canada.
According to the report, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were seen in fancy attire during the most recent sighting.
