Buyers can lock into a 5/1 adjustable rate loan today with an interest rate of 3.000% for the first five years with a corresponding APR of 2.904% to start. Well qualified buyers can get a 7/1 ARM at Chase today with a rate of 3.125% for the first seven years with a starting APR of 3.020%.
Refinance Rates at Chase Bank
Refinance rates are quoted higher than most purchase rates today at Chase. The standard 30-year refi loan is offered as low as 4.125% on Wednesday with an APR of 4.198%. Homeowners can refinance into the shorter 15-year loan at 3.250% with a 3.413% APR.
Homeowners who want more flexibility and greater savings can lock into a 5/1 adjustable rate refinance loan at 3.000% today with a 2.924% APR to start. Chase advertises the 7/1 ARM refinance mortgage at 3.250% for the first seven years with a starting APR of 3.069%.
