R&B singer Chris Brown expressed willingness in collaborating with former member of One Direction Zayn Malik, the latest talent of RCA Records. During his guesting at United Kingdom music station Capital FM, Brown hinted his confidence is enough.
“Of course, of course, I don’t shy away from anyone. I think he’s a great artist, he’s doing the solo thing, and he’s got a huge fan base. I’d be cool to get down and collab. I’m not a hard guy to get into the studio with,” the American artist said as quoted by AZ Central.
Twenty-two-year-old Malik signed a solo contract with RCA Records in July, four months after the boy band One Direction made public that Malik is leaving the group.
Chris Brown has had collaborative projects with several artists, the latest of which is with Rita Ora for a sexual track entitled “Body on Me.” According to Brown, it has been a mutual agreement between him and Ora to work on a joint project.
“We’re friends, we’ve got all the same friends. I was in the studio, she was in the studio, she’s like, ‘Hey, I got this idea,’ and I said, ‘Yeah, that’s dope, let’s do it,’” Brown narrated.
Ora is reportedly going to strip her top in their collaborative music video and Brown, when asked whether he would strip down too, said, “Yeah, and my bottoms!”
