Chris Brown’s daughter Royalty was reportedly present when he allegedly pulled a gun at model/ actress Baylee Curran on Tuesday morning at his Los Angeles mansion. Brown has been taken into custody and will be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an insider, the mother of Brown’s daughter, Nia Guzman, still has no idea about what happened to her during the Tuesday morning incident. However, the little girl is now back with her mother.
Guzman had feared that something like this could happen when she went to the court six months ago, according to the insider. “All she wanted was a nanny to prevent things like this,” the insider said.
“You have to wait until something bad happens like this for change to happen?” the insider was quoted as saying by Radar Online. “Nia doesn’t care about anything Chris has going on, if he kills himself, someone else. It has nothing to do with her. She only cares about the welfare of their daughter.”
But Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos claimed that the statement made by Guzman’s lawyer is false, saying, “She wasn’t and isn’t here.”
Los Angeles Police Department detectives searched Brown’s property after Curran called 911 alleging she was threatened by Chris Brown at gunpoint. When the police arrived at his house, an hours-long stand-off between the singer and the police erupted. The police had to wait for the warrant before they could start searching the house.
According to Curran, Chris Brown pointed the gun at her and threatened her after she admired a diamond necklace that was being showcased at his house. She managed to run out of the house and call 911.
