Supermodel Cara Delevingne and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander are starring in the erotic thriller movie “Tulip Fever.”
“Tulip Fever,” based in Deborah Moggach’s novel, is about a married woman in the 17th century played by Alicia Vikander. She has an affair with an artist hired to paint her. The artist is played by Dane Dehaan.
The two got engaged in a love affair. The movie tackles unfaithfulness and freedom, Perez Hilton says in a report. In one seen as shown in the trailer, Alicia Vikander’s role is even seen licking the fingers of her artist lover.
The story leads to the secret pair planning to elope through raising enough funds using tulip bulbs.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Cara Delevingne plays Henrietta. This is her sixth movie role this year, Style Caster said.
Delevingne previously landed roles in “Paper Towns,” “Face of an Angel,” and “Pan.” She will also appear in “Suicide Squad” and “Valerian” alongside Rihanna.
Aside from starring in “Tulip Fever,” Vikander is also playing Lara Croft. She also appeared in “Ex Machina” for her role as Al.
Early this year, the actress got a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Tom Hooper’s “The Danish Girl.”
Also included in the cast for “Tulip Fever” are Christoph Waltz, Dame Judy Dench, and Zach Galifianakis.
The movie, which is under The Weinstein Company, is set to hit the big screens this coming July 15.
