Captain America: Civil War fans have already taken sides as the film released internationally. While fans in the U.S. are yet to experience the epic clash, one man has yet to choose Team Cap or Team Iron Man: Stan Lee.
According to Comic Book, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans asked the comic-book writer, editor, and publisher which side he’s on. Considering both heroes’ ideals, it’s time to ask the opinion of a Marvel legend like Stan Lee.
Unfortunately, Stan doesn’t really care which side wins as long as he gets a good cameo in the film. As both heroes are proud Marvel icons, it’s understandable why 93-year-old Stan Lee would not pick a side in this conflict.
If some of you are still undecided on which side to choose in Captain America: Civil War, we have taken the liberty of explaining both sides. Cap a.k.a. Steve Rogers leads a newly formed team of Avengers as they continue to protect humanity.
Sadly, one mission results in heavy collateral damage, and the governments of the world want to install a system of accountability on the Avengers. Rogers wants the Avengers to continue without interference, while Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man supports accountability and government oversight.
Screen Rant reports that the film has already undergone its international release, although fans in the U.S. still need to wait a bit to see one of the most action-packed movies of the year. As far as the numbers are concerned, the film is off to a good start.
Captain America: Civil War is now in theaters internationally and has currently earned $14.9 million at the box office after two days. The North American release of the film is scheduled on May 6, 2016.
